riverRoyal Chitwan National Park (RCNP) has long been one of the country’s treasures of natural wonders. At the foot of the Himalayas, Chitwan is one of the few remaining undisturbed vestiges of the 'Terai' region, which formerly extended over the foothills of India and Nepal. In 1963 the area south of Rapti River was made a rhino sanctuary. The area was declared the country’s first national park in 1973. Recognising its unique ecosystems of international significance, UNESCO declared Chitwan a World Heritage Site in 1984.

chitwanPokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty. Situated at an altitude of 827m and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting city has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panaromic views of the Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

TESTIMONIALS

"The holiday exceeded my expectations by miles; perfect weather, perfect setting, perfect company and perfect walking. I liked the fact that there was a choice of walks and that if you wished, you could opt out for a day. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and I learned quite a few good tips for walking...”

"What can one say about trekking in the highest mountains in the world with Pammy - neither mountains or leader can be bettered!! The trek from beginning to end has been a fantastic experience and the best holiday I have ever been one. We walked in the hot sun, up high mountains and trekked in snow up to the knee all in the same day. It was both frightening and exhilarating at the same time but with Pammy's leadership and management of women and conditions you felt safe. Pammy is the tops!!"

"The holiday absolutely exceeded all my expectations. The scenery was fantastic and varied. There was a good variety of trekking and city visits. The hotel in Kathmandu and Nagargot were fantastic, clean, efficient and comfortable. The transport arrangements were excellent, comfortable and timely on the whole. Pammy was funny, friendly, informative, experienced with the right blend of friendliness and professionalism. She made me feel safe in difficult conditions and was a great source of knowledge and entertainment in equal measure!"

"The Nepal trek was a fantastic trip - it was exhausting, exhilarating, challenging and empowering. How many holidays does one receive a blessing from a Lama.. Nepal is a fantastic country, with wonderful welcoming people. It is rich in culture, with magnificent panoramas and whilst I knew Everest was there, I hadn't anticipated having the opportunity to fly up close…fantastic!!"

"An excellent introduction to a stunning area of Nepal. The sudden adverse weather conditions highlighted Pammy's excellence as a leader in extreme conditions"

"Way beyond the expectations - I came to Nepal with an open mind and I cannot believe the range of situations we found ourselves in. Extreme contrasts in all ways; culture, scenery, people, accommodation and weather!! I felt extremely well cared for; there was constant information given, good preparation, evaluation of events, de-briefing sessions, which all helped to make us feel safe even in extreme events…"

"I enjoyed the holiday immensely... scenery was great, the trek well planned and accommodating and it was a great introduction to Nepal and the Himalayas. We encountered several challenging situations which were excellently managed by Pammy..”

"Excellent, exceeded expectations.."
