outdoor leadership training

trainingOur countryside is a powerful playground that can be utilised for recreational, health, social, personal and educational outcomes. This has yet to be fully appreciated by our Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) Communities.

It is a fact that Britain has very few BME outdoor activities practitioners. This project aims to address this.

We aim to

  • Offer a training package to encourage the growth of confident and competent role models from within BME communities to improve psychological, emotional and physical access to wild open spaces for everyone.
  • Entice and excite people from BME communities to actively engage in countryside pursuits.
